Impact

The annual Championship showcases the skills of 'all abilities' cricketers, giving them a platform to succeed and reflects the growing participation in inclusive cricket programs throughout Australia. All State and Territory Cricket Associations now run their own diversity programs including All Abilities cricket as a brand in market also.

The Taverners have been the major financial contributor and in 2019 sponsored the Carnival with a $100,000 contribution. A similar contribution will be provided towards the 2021 Championships. To date, the Taverners have contributed $340,000 to the NCIC.

The Taverners sponsorship and partnership with Cricket Australia, has contributed towards the individual cost required to for each participant to be removed – so it's now 'free of charge' to all participants.

"Cricket Australia highly values it’s partnership with the Taverners who have made the game more accessible to cricketers with a disability across the country for over 35 years"
